Every two years at the second weekend of July the whole Schlitzerland is going crazy. The small region in the middle of Germany will celebrate from Friday, 8th July till Monday, 11th July 2011, the so called Trachtenfest. It is a folklore-festival with artists from all over the world.
Music, dancing, party, international folklore, pageant, fireworks and at the end a giant conga line through the medieval oldtown - let's party the Trachtenfest in Schlitz with us!Folklore and modern sounds, traditional costumes and jeans – no where else opposites clash so harmonically.
